Hello, friend...it is a joy indeed to welcome you to my country diary...
I am Kelly-Anne, a somewhat old fashioned young lady with a love for the countryside, teacups, handwritten letters and that which relates to Biblical womanhood and homemaking...

At twenty one years of age, I am the eldest of seven children and devote my days to serving my family as a daughter at home whilst running my little sewing business, Heartmade on the side...

I had the wonderful privilege of being home educated and now have the joy of watching my younger siblings develop a love for learning...I love sharing life with them!

I am a Bible~believing Christian and it is my sincerest desire to glorify my Lord Jesus in all I do, every word I utter and every thought that runs through my mind...  I am a work in progress, though and I am truly thankful and humbled to have a loving Saviour who sacrificed Himself on the cross for the weight of my sins...

I long to bring honour and glory to Christ's name whilst living at home and preparing for the blessed calling of raising a family of my own someday, should the Lord see fit...

I write to share the many blessings of this wonderful life the Lord has given me and hopefully inspire other ladies, young and old, in their pursuit of a simplicity and a life that is pleasing unto the Lord...
Recipes, craft tutorials, sewing projects and my thoughts on Biblical womanhood can be found on The Diary of a Country Girl, as well as ponderings on my love for the countryside and all things old~fashioned...

A few of my favourite things include...

Collecting teacups and teapots...  Sipping a good cup of coffee whilst chatting with my mom...  Vintage...  Capturing beauty through my camera lens...  Writing and sharing on my country diary...  Dreaming about traveling to Ireland someday...  Roses... Watching beautiful time period dramas such as Pride and Prejudice and Wives and Daughters...  Reading Amish novels...  Pottering in the garden...  Jane Austen...  Writing letters to sweet friends...  Sewing with beautiful fabric...  Singing or listening to lovely music...  Sweet friendships...  Crafting with pretty paper...  Pink and White...
Growing closer to my precious Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Thus...do make yourself comfortable and join me for a cup of tea and a delightful chat about all things lovely!

Joyfully in Christ,
Kelly-Anne
